Charleston Fashion Week 2015: Day 2

Compared to the borderline tropical temps of Day 1, the second day of Charleston Fashion Week was downright freezing (probably like 62 degrees, but we’re spoiled in the south). Because of the chillier weather, I was thrilled that I had already picked out this tribal print jumpsuit from Teal. It kept me warm while also looking effortlessly chic, and was the perfect throw on and go piece for a hectic Day 2. The only additions I had to make to the outfit were my faux leather jacket and some simple black heels, and I was good to go for the night! I had lots of fun with my accessories and went with some retro shades, turquoise tassels from Finicky Filly, my leopard Clare V clutch for some *print mixing*, and a fabulous pearl ring courtesy of Moon & Lola for a feminine touch. To top off my Day 2 look, I decided to get sassy with a messy fishtail braid (a lazy girl’s savior and a quick fix for hair boredom) and bright red lips to pop against the cool colors of my playsuit and earrings.

If you’re wondering why these photos are so awesome, it’s all thanks to fab photographer/general babe Taylor of Taylor Rae Photography. You might remember her from my faux honeymoon shoot for A Lowcountry Wedding and how badass those pictures turned out, so naturally I decided to ask her if she could shoot some of my fashion week looks. As always, she was so down (she’s the best), and I had such a blast with her all week!

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s neon look… ❤
