My look for the Spring Bridal Show on Day 5 of CFW had to be one of my favorites. It was crisp, clean and sophisticated (not usually the words I use to describe my personal style) – which made it perfect for this beautiful morning of all things bridal.
I wasn’t sure if the same no-white rule for weddings applied for a bridal show, but needless to say I blatantly ignored it with this white hot number courtesy of The Impeccable Pig. I just love the simple elegance of this dress as well as the fact that it’s the perfect blank canvas to make room for a statement piece – like this fab oversized coat from H&M. I first saw this pretty blush coat on fellow blogger babe Emily of The Style Hunter, and knew right then and there I had to have it. The neutral, romantic hues paired with the lovely heron print made this the perfect piece for Charleston Fashion Week – subtly southern yet fashion forward.
To accessorize, I went with my leopard Clare V clutch (y’all know by now how much I love print mixing), some fab two-tone heels, turquoise tassel earrings courtesy of Finicky Filly for a little pop of color, and my Moon & Lola pearl ring that I had on maaaajor repeat all week. Can you blame me? This bling ring added a feminine touch to my edgier outfits, and was the perfect cherry on top of my more polished looks. Last but not least, I finished the look off with a topknot (because duh), white nails, a sheer pink lip gloss, and enormous cat-eye sunnies (and an even bigger iced coffee) to disguise my crippling hangover. Chic.
Stay tuned for my fancy finale look, live on Monday!
