Elephants + Blogger Brunches

A few weeks ago (okay maybe it was longer than that but I’m a slowpoke), I attended the cutest little blogger brunch at local fave Old Village Post House. It was organized by blogger babes Sunflowers & Lace and Seven & Stitch, and we had so much fun sipping on mimosas and munching on (devouring) french toast. A few local boutiques were sweet enough to contribute to our fun, and Flowershop at Mixson even gave us little flower crowns to wear during brunch. Take a look at some highlights below, as well as my #bloggerswhobrunch outfit!

Can you expect anything else from a table full of bloggers?! Gotta do it for the ‘gram! When it came to my brunch outfit, as you can see, the trend of the morning was colorful + patterned! I fit right in with my elephant print dress from Dandy Boutique and hot pink tassel necklace. I topped off the look with a neutral clutch and wedges, minimal jewelry, and a jean jacket. Last but not least, hot pink lips (aka my secret for looking awake in the morning).

If you recognize this area, that’s because it’s in The Notebook. Remember this part? Basically, my blog has just become a behind-the-scenes tour of The Notebook set (i.e. this and this). Now all I need is Ryan…

A huge thank you to Old Village Post House, Candlefish, Finicky Filly, Vestique, Pink Dot Beauty Bar, Luna, and Flowershop at Mixson for making our blogger brunch possible!

    • I had the exact same thing happen to me/have just had the worst hair luck in general the past year or two – until I went to Madison at Elysium! People call her “the blonde whisperer” and I have to say I agree!
